The National Academy of Beauty Arts is one of St. Louis’ oldest accredited schools. The academy was founded in 1961 and was accredited by NACCAS in 1968.
The Schaefer family (Barry, Donna Bentley, and Gary) has helped many embark on successful careers in cosmetology. With the passing of Donna and Barry, Gary left a successful career to manage National Academy. Gary brings a dedicated, sincere commitment to helping and empowering students. Because of his commitment to quality education, the majority of the academy’s student enrollment comes from referrals.
Today, Gary continues to uphold the principals, dedication and care that his brother Barry and sister Donna worked so hard to create.
