for full time Cosmetologists were between $30,000 and $50,000
in 2003 with an average of $36,100, the opportunities are endless.
Experienced licensed Cosmetologists can earn up to $70,000 per
year and more. Employment opportunities for Cosmetologists are
expected to grow faster than average for all occupations. It
is one of the nations fastest growing and desirable jobs, according
to “Money” magazine.

I have always
had an interest in doing hair. As a youngster, I always
got in trouble for cutting my Barbie Doll’s hair. My
mother swore she wouldn’t buy me another doll if I kept
cutting their hair. I was always doing the baby-sitters
hair, braiding, curling, etc. Then in high school, I
